4th Grade
Mrs. Stahl, our Fourth Grade teacher is the Fourth Grade homeroom and Fifth Grade Science and Religion teacher. She has received a Golden Apple Nomination and an East Side Chamber of Commerce Teacher and Leaders Recognition Award.

    • A worksheet is given to reteach and practice the skills learned that day to be done either in class or for homework
    • A test is given at the end of the unit. (The date is given a week in advance)

    • EVERY WEEK THERE IS A LIST OF WORDS THAT FOLLOW A SPECIFIC PHONETIC OR GRAMMAR RULE (THE STUDENTS HAVE THIS LIST IN THEIR ASSIGNMENT BOOKS)
    • FOR HOMEWORK EVERY THURSDAY, A PARENT PRETEST IS TO BE GIVEN IN THE STUDENT'S NOTEBOOK AND SHOULD ALSO BE SIGNED BY A PARENT
    • EVERY FRIDAY THERE IS A WEEKLY TEST FROM THE LIST
Science
  • Students practice the concepts taught by defining vocabulary, taking notes, completing an outline worksheet, and answering a review worksheet in class or for homework
  • A test is given at the end of each chapter. (The date is given a week in advance)
Religion
  • Study about jesus and our catholic faith through a variety of projects, songs and attending mass

  • Every Friday there is a weekly chapter test that is given open book

    • EVERY WEDNESDAY, REVIEW THE VOCABULARY AND DEFINITIONS IN THE READING NOTEBOOK FOR HOMEWORK
  • WRITING
    • LEARNING STEPS INVOLVED IN THE WRITING PROCESS (PREWRITING, REVISION, EDITING, AND FINAL DRAFT)
social studies
